pr0gramm authentication with Socialite
The pr0gramm provider adds pr0gramm OAuth authentication to Laravel Socialite. Users sign in with their existing pr0gramm account.
The integration is part of SocialiteProviders. The provider handles the platform-specific parts of authentication while the Laravel application uses the familiar Socialite interface.
Set up the provider
Install the package with Composer:
composer require socialiteproviders/pr0gramm
Configure the client ID, client secret and callback URL in config/services.php, then register the provider with Socialite. The documentation provides setup steps for different Laravel versions.
Start the authentication flow with the pr0gramm driver:
return Socialite::driver('pr0gramm')->redirect();
After the callback, the application continues processing the sign-in. The provider connects to the external identity provider; local user accounts and permissions remain the application's responsibility.
Authentication and API access
The Socialite provider handles authentication. The separate Laravel pr0gramm API wrapper provides further access to posts, comments and messages. The two projects serve different parts of an integration.
The provider documentation describes the setup. The linked GitHub repository is a read-only split of the shared SocialiteProviders repository; contributions are maintained in the central project.
