Summaries for pr0gramm
The TLDR bot was built to produce short summaries of lengthy pr0gramm comments. Users get a compact version of the main points before reading the full text.
The Laravel project processes other text sources alongside comments. Its documentation describes text recognition in images and processing video subtitles.
Three sources of text
- Comments: Long texts provide the source for a summary.
- Images: Optical character recognition (OCR) extracts text from an image.
- Videos: Existing subtitles provide the text for a summary of the content.
Connecting to the community
The project uses the separate Laravel API wrapper to communicate with pr0gramm. Platform integration and content processing are organised into separate components.
The source code and documented features are public. The repository shows supported inputs and their implementation.
